Career Experience:
Since qualifying I have worked full time for West Bromwich Albion FC with the academy, youth and first team players. This full time position followed a six year spell with the club on a part time basis working closely with academy and senior players. I then moved on to work at Ramsay Health Care working in the Outpatients department as well as working with orthopaedic surgery patients on the ward.
Specialist Interest:
In addition to my role here at West Midlands Hospital I work part time at St Georges Park; The FA headquarters providing first aid cover for the FA learning program. In addition to football I also practice in rugby, holding the position of the Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club First Team physiotherapist. A challenging position that keeps me in touch with the acute injury management side of the profession. Ultimate Frisbee is a new venture that I have recently been involved with. I was fortunate enough to be selected to travel to Toronto, Canada to provide physio cover for the Great Britain team competing in a 7 day tournament.
Personal Interest:
In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, walking my dogs and socialising with friends. I have recently got married in Cyprus so keeping my wife Julia happy is also of paramount importance.
